Root'd in Care Workshop

Root’d in Care: A faith-rooted, care-centered approach to moving forward without pressure, burnout, or self-abandonment.

If the new year already feels heavy, you’re not behind… you’re simply paying attention.

This masterclass is for Black women of faith who feel resistant to the usual “new year, new me” energy but still want clarity, direction, and alignment as they move into 2026.

Instead of rushing into new goals from depletion or avoiding planning altogether, we’ll slow things down and lead with care.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

  • Discern whether the goals you’ve previously set actually fit your current capacity and season

  • Identify when pressure, shame, or performance are driving your plans

  • Choose a pace that honors your body, nervous system, and your relationship with God

  • Move forward with clarity and intention without forcing or starting over

This is not a productivity workshop.

It’s not about grinding harder, shrinking yourself, or proving anything.

It is about:

  • Returning to what God has already been forming in you

  • Making space for recovery before expansion

  • Building plans that support “life to the full,” not burnout

You’ll leave with:

  • A grounded framework for moving forward this year

  • Language to describe what you actually need right now

  • Permission to choose wisdom over urgency

  • A sense of peace about your next step — even if it’s smaller than expected

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or quietly resistant to the pressure of January, this space was created with you in mind.
